Found this place by accident but it is wonderful. I had a very good Madras and my friend declared her Dhansak to be the best she had ever eaten. High praise from someone who usually gets her Indian food from Birmingham's "Balti triangle ". Recommend you give it a try for sit down or take away. Brilliant!

The best curry house on the wirral it's been a while since I've used them due to unfortunate circumstances. But now just ordered two meals and wow they remember me as a regular customer. And the food is as it always was top notch I cant recommend these guys highly enough.thanks guys

ITS BACK!!! First time back in over 5 years after a bad meal, took a chance and OMG it’s delicious, service is first class he even drive to the local aldi fur pinapple so I could have my Dansak felt a little embarrassed but not a problem, you can also take your own beer so what’s not to like. 3 stars was only because place was empty but we did go early. Try it out

The alam balti Indian house is a small cosy and family run business. The people are lovely and friendly and the food is delicious. There are many options to choose whatever your taste from hot and spicy to mild and creamy and you can also take your own alcohol if wanted, to enjoy with your meal. There is a car park at the top of the road so it is very easy to park and so far it is free.

Really pleasing people, understanding and the food tastes wonderful. Although empty at the time of my visit likely due to it being sunday evening. I cannot understand why such a pleasant place has bad reviews. Personally i would rate it much higher than the 3.9 google rating and have done. Thank you to everyone there, now back to my biriyani

The mushroom sagwala at Alham Balti was delicious! They made it specially for me as it wasn't on the menu. The creamy spinach with mushrooms was perfect. Highly recommend!

Great food which is cooked well and spiced well with an authentic feel. Service was spot on with the server recommending dishes and this was one of the nicest restaurant meals I have had in a while. Drink selection could be more varied but honestly Chicken Karahi with Garlic Naan was excellent. I would come back if visiting the area again. There is on street parking outside the restaurant

Beautiful traditional Curry house with same owner for 17 yrs! It was a shame not many people were in on a Sat. But lots of take away.

Friendly family service. One of the best restaurants to make you feel at home. Nothings is too much trouble and bring your own booze make it a cheap night out
